Yeah so today's episode we're going to be focusing on discussing in theogens and sort of their place within the magical tradition and um how we our perspective on them in general so we're going to just start off by presenting a basic definition so in theogen is a chemical substance typically of animal or plant origin that is ingested to produce a non-ordinary state of consciousness for religious or spiritual purposes

Need to push this stuff through they're doing just fine with the system as it works now with the scripts on the doctor's desk because uh when you go into a doctor visit and he writes you those scripts he's getting a percentage of that you know not just not just is he giving you a medicine and he's also getting paid to do that service as well is getting a cut as a like a drug dealer you know so that's what happens some drugs are regulated some are and they've

Turned everything into drugs so they can control and capitalize and sell it you know the history of our of our country here is founded off drug Runners and you know if you know about anything about the big political families they were involved in a lot of that stuff back in the day even like JFK the family was involved in you know whiskey sales and stuff like that so yeah the Opium Wars in China they were helping the British with the Opium Wars and this actually brings me to like a important

Part here like if in theogens are the source of religions or spiritual access than those who want to centralize Authority or monopolize religious power they got to monopolize the impelligent trade which is big money and you know these have medicinal value especially like opium is big money and it has medicinal value especially in the old days and you see this at the root of minoan culture with their opium trade but uh it seems like this was a this is a huge piece of History that's been ignored and it has huge economic
